Rene Palomino started his roofing career in 1977 and worked his way up to journeyman roofer just four years later. By that time, you could have named any type of roofing project, and he’d have experienced it: flat roof, shingle roof, tile roof, and wood shake roofing materials were all well known to Rene, plus numerous residential and large commercial projects. From basic repair to full-blown roof replacements, Rene mastered them all.

After 22 years in the field, Rene became the production manager for one of Arizona’s most established roofing/remodeling companies where he managed anywhere from four to seven crews at a time, running a tight ship, always delivering completed projects on time, in the budget, and with the highest standards for quality.

After only 90 days, Rene was promoted to manager of the roofing division. In this new position, he received personal training from the company’s general manager and CEO. It was at this point that Rene was fast becoming one of Arizona’s most experienced and highest recommended roofing contractors.

As Rene soaked up everything about the business, including how to provide top-notch customer service, he put it all in action seven years later with the formation of Express Roofing. Like many small companies with humble beginnings, Rene had no idea that Express Roofing would grow to become one of the top local roofing companies in the Phoenix market, based in Mesa, but working in Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Scottsdale, Phoenix, and the entire east valley.
